Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Functional Lead with strong expertise in Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS) and/or Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAM). The candidate will be responsible for leading functional design, solutioning, and delivery across utility asset and work management implementations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead functional design and implementation of WACS/WAM solutions for utility clients
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to asset lifecycle, work management, and field operations
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs
Drive workshops, requirement discussions, and stakeholder alignment sessions
Configure and support modules such as:
oWork Management
oAsset Management
oPreventive & Corrective Maintenance
oCrew & Field Scheduling
Collaborate with technical teams for integrations (e.g., with CC&B, GIS, or other enterprise systems)
Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities
Provide functional leadership, mentoring junior consultants, and ensuring delivery quality
Identify process improvements and recommend best practices aligned with utility industry standards
Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in:
o Oracle Utilities WACS and/or WAM
Good understanding of:
o Utility domain (Electric / Gas / Water)
o Asset lifecycle management
o Work order management processes
Experience in at least 1–2 end-to-end implementations
Ability to handle client-facing roles and stakeholder communication
Experience in requirement gathering, functional design, and documentation
Exposure to Oracle Utilities CC&B or other Oracle Utilities applications
Knowledge of integrations with GIS, Mobility, or Field Service systems
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Basic understanding of data migration and reporting
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
