Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who understands the market deeply and can take full ownership of our operations in the region. This is a leadership role that combines business development with operational management, ideal for a proactive, results-oriented professional ready to drive growth in a key location.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SpiderWork's operations independently
- Identify and pursue business opportunities in the local market
- Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships
- Develop and execute growth strategies for the Kochi region
- Conduct market and competitor research to guide decision-making
- Represent SpiderWorks in local industry events and business forums
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
- Track and report on business performance and regional KPIs
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in digital marketing or IT services
- Strong understanding of the Kochi market and local business ecosystem
- Proven leadership experience in managing regional operations or teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation and client engagement skills
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience with CRM tools and business reporting is an advantage
