Position Overview
The Sales Service Manager is responsible for developing and expanding the customer base, driving revenue growth, and increasing customer satisfaction within the assigned sales territory. The role focuses on sales support for all service offerings, market development, and strengthening long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Acquisition & Market Development
Identify, acquire, and develop customers in the assigned sales region.
Analyze market trends and customer needs (technical, pharmaceutical, commercial) to create business opportunities.
2. Project & Quotation Management
Prepare, negotiate, and follow up on quotations and cost calculations.
Coordinate project financing and collaborate with internal service departments and the Sales Service Assistant.
3. Order Management
Manage the complete order cycle: order confirmation, processing, changes, and project tracking.
Handle overdue/outstanding invoices, reduce complaints, and optimize communication between customers and manufacturing plants.
4. Customer Support & Relationship Management
Ensure high customer satisfaction through consistent telephone, email, and on-site support.
Provide solutions to customer concerns and build strong long-term relationships.
5. Events, Trade Fairs & Seminars
Represent the company at trade fairs, seminars, and service-related events.
Prepare materials and deliver presentations as required.
6. Collaboration with Agents/Partners
Manage and support external agents, including training, document sharing, and joint customer visits.
Assist agents during trade fairs and customer meetings.
7. Support for Sales Service Operations
Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts, service matters, complaints, and payment follow-ups.
Provide guidance for process improvements and faster issue resolution.
8. Compliance & Documentation
Perform tasks in compliance with DIN EN ISO 9001 standards.
Independently execute routine tasks as per work instructions.
