Job Description: We are seeking a Lead Assistant Manager – F&A Operations to support and act as a backup to the Manager in overseeing finance and accounting processes for our client in North America. This role is ideal for professionals with strong technical expertise, a technology-driven mindset, and the ability to leverage tools and data for actionable insights.

Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities

Assist the Manager in supervising daily Finance & Accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Act as a backup to the Manager during absences, maintaining operational continuity.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Deep dive into Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP functionalities to explore options, tools, and reports for analysis.
Pull, interpret, and present data-driven insights to clients for informed decision-making.
Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and enhance efficiency.
Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.

Core Competencies

Strong working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM).
Sound technical knowledge with a technology-driven, analytical mindset.
Ability to explore ERP tools and reporting options to generate valuable insights.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate operational matters to clients.
Team-oriented approach with leadership potential.
Knowledge of compliance standards and internal controls.

Qualifications: Experience & Qualifications

6–9 years of experience in Finance & Accounting operations.
Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
Hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP for a minimum of 2 years.
Exposure to North America F&A processes preferred.
Minimum qualification required: Post-graduation in the Commerce stream.
Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are an added advantage.
