Key Responsibility:
· Plan, coordinate, and supervise all packaging activities in alignment with shipment schedules and Time & Action (T&A) plans.
· Ensure smooth and efficient movement of products through the finishing, folding, packing, and dispatch processes.
· Identify operational bottlenecks and implement timely corrective and preventive actions to avoid delays.
· Optimize the utilization of manpower, machinery, packing materials, and available floor space to achieve operational efficiency.
· Coordinate with labour contractors to ensure adequate availability of skilled manpower as per production and shipment requirements.
· Ensure strict adherence to buyer-specific packaging instructions, packing standards, and shipment requirements.
· Monitor finishing, folding, labelling, and packing quality to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
· Verify the accuracy of SKU labels, UPC codes, barcodes, shipping marks, and other packaging-related documentation.
· Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
· Conduct regular inspections of packing materials, finished goods, and packed cartons to ensure quality compliance.
· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized packaging area in accordance with company standards and compliance requirements.
· Ensure proper identification, storage, and handling of packing materials and finished goods and maintain accurate packaging records, production reports, and shipment documentation.
· Prepare and submit daily operational reports and progress updates to the Operations Manager and Escalate shipment risks, delays, or critical issues as per the defined escalation matrix.
· Coordinate effectively with Merchandising, Production, Quality, Stores, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging efficiency, quality, and resource utilization.
· Lead, supervise, and train the packaging team to achieve operational, quality, and delivery objectives.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate / Diploma in Operations, Textiles, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Packaging, Finishing, Production, or Export Operations.
- Experience in Home Textiles, Furnishings, Garments, or Export Manufacturing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of buyer packing standards, export compliance, and shipment processes.
Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
