We’re hiring: Business Development Intern (Confidentiality & Data Security Focus)
Location: Remote (flexible hours, work from home)
Duration: 3 months (possible extension/full-time upon quarter review)
Stipend: Up to ₹10,000 + performance incentives
Role summary
Help grow our client base by independently sourcing and qualifying leads, conducting outreach, and coordinating directly with the company's stakeholders and/or client’s representative while strictly protecting sensitive information.
Key responsibilities
- Independently generate leads using LinkedIn, industry directories, social media, and cold outreach.
- Craft and send concise outreach messages (LinkedIn/email) to secure interest and meetings.
- Qualify prospects against simple criteria and coordinate next steps with the client’s executive via approved channels.
- Maintain secure records of interactions (no export to personal drives); follow data-handling protocols.
- Provide daily EODs / weekly progress updates (short report) on outreach, responses, qualified leads, and meetings.
- Fulfilling business requirements with quality and integrity in check.
Must-have prerequisites
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong written & verbal communication and basic outreach copywriting.
- Comfortable using LinkedIn, email, and other online platform for prospecting.
- Self-starter who can work independently with/without a CRM.
- High integrity; willingness to sign NDA and follow confidentiality rules.
- Reliable internet and ability to work flexible hours with progressive mindset.
- Flexible to learn new knowledge/skills and implementation with adaptability.
- Open for taking feedback and improve professionally while keeping an open mind.
Preferred (not required)
- Prior internship or experience in sales, BD, or outreach.
- Basic understanding of data protection principles.
- Sample outreach message or short LinkedIn post (optional with application).
- Dedicated to improve and progress further.
Security & process notes (mandatory)
- Sign NDA and data-protection agreement before starting.
- Use approved accounts/channels for all client communications.
- Do not store or share contact lists or client materials on personal devices/clouds.
- Any suspected breach must be reported immediately.
- Non-compliance with security policies and breaches of confidentiality will not be tolerated.
