Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the facility. Freshers as well as candidates with up to 4 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults in motors, panels, transformers, switchgear, and control circuits.
- Monitor and maintain electrical installations to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment and identify potential issues.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and breakdown reports.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and testing of new electrical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Support energy conservation initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in electrical rooms and work areas.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, motors, starters, MCC panels, transformers, and switchgear.
- Understanding of electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with electrical safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices.
- Ability to use electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial automation systems.
- Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or facility maintenance environments.
- Understanding of electrical standards and statutory requirements.
Pay: Up to ₹350,000.00 per year
