About Praper Media:
We are looking for a creative and detail-focused Executive Graphic Designer to join our team. In this position, you will work closely with editors and clients to produce engaging visual content for digital platforms. You will be instrumental in designing impactful thumbnails that follow brand guidelines, attract audience attention, and contribute to overall content performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality and engaging YouTube thumbnails that drive viewer interest and clicks.
- Apply strong knowledge of thumbnail design principles, including click-through optimisation and audience targeting, while maintaining a consistent visual style across multiple videos and channels.
- Develop creative ideas that align with video titles, themes, and brand identity.
- Design visually appealing layouts using effective typography, colour schemes, and imagery.
- Edit and enhance images through retouching and basic manipulation techniques.
- Collaborate with editors, content teams, and clients to ensure alignment with overall goals.
- Communicate directly with clients to understand requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Manage multiple assignments efficiently while handling workload and meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Stay updated with current YouTube trends, competitor designs, and evolving digital styles.
- Provide multiple design variations when needed and refine them based on feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in graphic design.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in YouTube thumbnail design.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Solid understanding of design principles such as composition, colour theory, typography, and hierarchy.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work while maintaining quality under tight timelines.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team environment.
