About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and engaging English Teacher who can create a supportive and encouraging learning environment for students. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in English language skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual learning needs.
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience or understanding of working with children with learning disabilities and who can approach teaching with patience, empathy, and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct English language sessions focusing on reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, and communication skills
- Create interactive and student-friendly lesson plans
- Identify individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Support students in improving confidence and language fluency
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
- Track student progress and share feedback with parents/management when required
- Use creative teaching techniques, activities, and learning aids to enhance engagement
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Strong command over spoken and written English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, compassionate, and adaptable teaching approach
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Experience or understanding of children with learning disabilities will be an added advantage
- Ability to build rapport with children and encourage participation
Preferred Background
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field
- Certification/training in special education or learning disability support is a plus
