Diploma Engineer – Mechanical & Electrical
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in mechanical and electrical system assembly, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, fabrication drawings, and technical documents.
- Support assembly and integration of motors, control panels, sensors, actuators, mechanical structures, and engineering equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment and identify basic faults.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Assist engineers during equipment fabrication, installation, modification, testing, and field trials.
- Carry out inspection of mechanical components, electrical connections, wiring, fasteners, and assemblies.
- Support fabrication, fitting, drilling, assembly, alignment, and installation activities where required.
- Assist with electrical wiring, control panel assembly, cable routing, and termination.
- Maintain basic technical reports, maintenance records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with design, production, fabrication, maintenance, and engineering teams.
- Follow company procedures, workshop practices, and mechanical and electrical safety requirements.
- Support product development, continuous improvement, testing, and equipment reliability activities.
Requirements
- Diploma in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- or a related engineering discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Willingness to work in a hands-on engineering, workshop, testing, and project environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and engineering systems.
Preferred Skills
Mechanical:
- Mechanical assembly and fitting
- Fabrication and basic machining knowledge
- Motors, bearings, shafts, couplings, and mechanical components
- Preventive maintenance
- Measuring instruments and inspection
- AutoCAD, solid work / mechanical drawing knowledge
Electrical:
- Electrical wiring and troubleshooting
- Motors, sensors, relays, contactors, and electrical components
- Control panel wiring and assembly
- Electrical testing using multimeter and related instruments
- Preventive maintenance
- Electrical safety
- AutoCAD / electrical drawing knowledge
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
