The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of customers, employees, and cinema property. The role includes monitoring entry and exit points, conducting patrols, preventing unauthorized access, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for moviegoers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor all entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular patrols of auditoriums, lobbies, parking areas, and other public spaces.
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activities.
- Perform bag checks and security screening as per company policy.
- Maintain crowd control during peak hours, blockbuster releases, and special events.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, medical incidents, and fire alarms.
- Ensure emergency exits and fire safety equipment remain accessible and operational.
- Prepare incident reports and maintain daily security logs.
- Coordinate with local police, fire services, and emergency responders when required.
- Assist customers by providing directions and resolving security-related concerns.
- Handle lost-and-found procedures according to company guidelines.
- Enforce cinema policies and safety regulations professionally.

Qualifications
- Minimum: 10th or 12th pass (varies by employer).
- Prior experience in security, hospitality, malls, cinemas, or public venues is preferred.
- Security training or certification is an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Immediate response to emergencies and customer incidents.
