✔ Patient Assessment & Stabilization
· Conduct rapid assessment of patient condition and vital signs upon arrival
· Recognize life-threatening conditions and initiate appropriate emergency interventions
· Provide first aid, basic life support (BLS), and advanced life support (ALS) under supervision
✔ Emergency Procedures & Support
· Assist in airway management, oxygen therapy, IV access, and medication administration
· Operate defibrillators, ventilators, monitors, and other emergency equipment
· Support trauma resuscitation, cardiac arrest, and critical care procedures
· Assist physicians and nurses during emergency interventions
✔ Patient Transport & Transfer
· Safely transfer patients from ambulance to ED or from ED to ICU/OT
· Ensure patient monitoring and support during intra-hospital or inter-hospital transport
· Maintain safety and immobilization of patients during transport
✔ Equipment & Supply Management
· Ensure readiness and functionality of emergency equipment (crash cart, ventilators, monitors)
· Maintain inventory of emergency drugs, consumables, and trauma supplies
· Check and maintain AEDs, oxygen cylinders, suction units, and other emergency devices
✔ Documentation & Reporting
· Record patient details, vital signs, interventions, and observations
· Document emergency care procedures and transfers
· Report incidents, adverse events, and near-misses according to hospital policy
✔ Safety & Infection Control
· Follow universal precautions, infection control protocols, and NABH/JCI standards
· Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste and sharps
· Maintain hygiene and sterility of emergency equipment
