About Us: Orlone Plastics is a growing manufacturing company based in Kizhakkambalam, Kerala. We are expanding our remote team and are looking for a dedicated Procurement & Purchasing Agent to help streamline our supply chain. The Role: We are looking for an organized and analytical Procurement & Purchasing Agent to manage our raw material acquisition and In this remote role, you will be responsible for sourcing plastics, negotiating pricing, and managing the end-to-end logistics of how these materials are shipped and received.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and purchase raw plastic materials, closely monitoring the pricing of petrochemical derivatives.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Coordinate and oversee the logistics of inbound shipments, ensuring materials are received on time and in full.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain data.
Build and maintain strong, inclusive relationships with vendors and logistics partners.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics. Fresh graduates with strong analytical and organizational skills are highly encouraged to apply!
Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and basic data tracking abilities. A foundational understanding of shipping logistics is essential.
Work Style: Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working in a remote environment.
Language: Fluency in English and Malayalam is preferred to communicate effectively with local suppliers and logistics teams in Kerala.
