The HR Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end HR operations of the school, ensuring smooth functioning of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, attendance, leave management, compliance, and staff welfare. The role supports teachers, administrative staff, support staff, and ensures HR policies are implemented as per institutional guidelines.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Coordinate the recruitment process for teaching, non-teaching, and support staff.
- Prepare job postings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and follow up on selections.
- Conduct reference checks and prepare offer letters.
- Maintain a talent pool for future requirements.
2. Onboarding & Induction
- Organize induction sessions and ensure new employees understand school policies.
- Create and update staff files.
3. Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor daily attendance for all departments.
- Manage leave applications, approvals, and records on HRMS / manual systems.
- Prepare monthly attendance data for payroll processing.
4. Payroll Coordination
- Compile attendance, leave deductions, and overtime details for payroll.
- Coordinate with the Accounts/Payroll team to ensure accurate salary processing.
5. Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for staff concerns and grievances.
- Maintain a positive work environment and ensure healthy communication between staff and management.
- Support conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
6. Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and statutory documents.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and local labor laws.
