Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Application Engineer – HVAC with experience in designing and estimating HVAC systems. The candidate should be capable of understanding client requirements, performing heat load calculations, selecting equipment, preparing BOQs, costing, and supporting tender submissions. The role requires close coordination with the sales, design, procurement, and project teams to deliver accurate and competitive technical proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform heat load calculations using industry standards and relevant software.
- Prepare HVAC system designs based on project requirements.
- Select appropriate fans, blowers, AHUs, ventilation equipment, and other HVAC components.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material specifications.
- Develop cost estimates, project budgets, and techno-commercial offers.
- Prepare and submit tender documents, including technical and commercial bids.
- Study tender documents, specifications, drawings, and identify project requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations and technical compliance.
- Provide technical support to the sales team during customer discussions and pre-sales activities.
- Prepare technical submittals, datasheets, compliance statements, and presentations.
- Coordinate with the design and execution teams for smooth project handover.
- Ensure proposals comply with applicable HVAC standards and customer specifications.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ventilation, and air distribution.
- Expertise in Heat Load Calculation.
- Experience in Fan & Equipment Selection.
- Proficiency in preparing BOQ, Cost Estimation, and Tender Documentation.
- Good understanding of ducting, ventilation, and HVAC components.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
- 3–4 years of experience in HVAC application engineering, estimation, or tendering.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, and ventilation projects.
- Familiarity with government and private sector tendering processes will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
