Responsibilities
- Assist in keyword research using SEO tools to identify high-potential search terms.
- Optimize on-page SEO elements including titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and image alt text.
- Create and update SEO-friendly content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and other digital assets.
- Conduct website audits to identify technical SEO issues and recommend improvements.
- Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Track keyword rankings and prepare regular SEO performance reports.
- Perform competitor analysis to identify opportunities and industry trends.
- Support link-building activities through outreach and backlink analysis.
- Ensure content follows SEO best practices while maintaining readability and user experience.
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithms, SEO trends, and digital marketing practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) concepts and best practices.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and keyword research tools is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (such as WordPress) is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Understanding of keyword research and content optimization.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar (preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic understanding of website performance metrics and Core Web Vitals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and analysis.
