Job Summary
The Center Director is responsible for the overall management and smooth functioning of the preschool centre. The role involves leading the teaching and non-teaching team, ensuring high-quality education and care, maintaining parent relationships, driving admissions and revenue, and ensuring that all operational, safety, hygiene, and academic standards are consistently followed.
Key Responsibilities1. Centre Operations
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre efficiently.
- Ensure the centre is clean, safe, child-friendly, and well-maintained.
- Monitor adherence to all SOPs, policies, and operational guidelines.
- Ensure timely opening and closing of the centre.
- Coordinate maintenance, housekeeping, security, and other facility requirements.
2. Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and motivate teachers and support staff.
- Allocate responsibilities and prepare staff schedules.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, performance, and discipline.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback.
- Identify training needs and support staff development.
3. Academic & Child Development
- Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum and lesson plans.
- Monitor classroom quality and teaching practices.
- Ensure children receive a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
- Coordinate activities, celebrations, events, and extracurricular programmes.
- Monitor children's progress and address concerns appropriately.
4. Admissions & Parent Relations
- Drive admissions and support the centre in achieving enrolment targets.
- Conduct centre tours and interact with prospective parents.
- Build strong and positive relationships with existing parents.
- Address parent queries, feedback, and concerns professionally.
- Maintain high levels of parent satisfaction and retention.
- Support marketing and promotional activities for the centre.
5. Administration & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records related to admissions, attendance, fees, staff, and children.
- Monitor fee collection and follow up on pending payments.
- Ensure all required registers and documentation are updated.
- Prepare regular reports on centre performance and operations.
- Coordinate with the Head Office and management on operational requirements.
6. Safety, Hygiene & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to child safety and safeguarding policies.
- Conduct regular safety and cleanliness checks.
- Ensure first-aid kits, fire safety equipment, CCTV, and child-proofing measures are in place.
- Maintain proper hygiene standards across classrooms, play areas, washrooms, and common spaces.
- Immediately report and appropriately handle any incidents or emergencies.
7. Business & Performance Management
- Take ownership of the centre's admissions, revenue, and operational targets.
- Track key performance indicators and prepare periodic reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve admissions, parent engagement, and centre profitability.
- Monitor resources and expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
