PRT (Primary Teacher) / Mother Teacher Job Description
Position: PRT / Mother Teacher
Class: Nursery to Class V
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
Teach all major subjects to primary students.
Prepare daily lesson plans and teaching aids.
Conduct classroom activities and assessments.
Classroom Management
Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
Ensure students' safety and well-being.
Manage attendance and classroom records.
Student Development
Monitor academic and behavioral progress.
Provide individual attention to slow learners.
Encourage participation in co-curricular activities.
Parent Communication
Attend parent-teacher meetings.
Share students' progress and concerns with parents.
Administrative Duties
Maintain student portfolios and report cards.
Participate in school events, assemblies, and meetings.
Required Qualifications
Graduate degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com or equivalent)
D.El.Ed/B.Ed preferred
Good communication skills
Basic computer knowledge

Working Hours
As per school timings (generally 8 hours per day)
Salary Range
Private schools: ₹10,000 – ₹20 000+ per month (depends on school and experience & If outsider teachers come and stay in the hostel then food & accommodation will be provided by school )
