Job Summary
The IPD Billing Executive is responsible for preparing and managing inpatient billing, ensuring accurate charge capture, timely bill generation, payment collection, and coordination with patients, TPAs, insurance companies, and hospital departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process IPD patient bills accurately and timely.
- Verify charges related to room rent, procedures, investigations, pharmacy, and consumables.
- Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, and clinical departments for billing updates.
- Handle cashless and insurance-related billing documentation.
- Process patient discharges and generate final bills.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient queries.
- Collect payments and maintain billing records.
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and insurance guidelines.
- Prepare daily billing and collection reports.
- Follow up on pending approvals and claim-related requirements.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of hospital IPD billing processes.
- Experience with Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
- Basic understanding of TPA and insurance billing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and billing software.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 1–5 years of experience in hospital IPD billing.
- Experience handling insurance and TPA cases.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
Salary: ₹3–5 LPA (depending on experience)
Additional Requirements:
- Should be open to rotational shifts.
- Preference will be given to candidates from nearby locations.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
