Job Overview
Devant IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Manual QA Tester with 1–2 years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in software testing, defect reporting, test case execution, and quality assurance processes. You will work closely with developers and project teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Analyze software requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira or similar bug-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes by conducting re-testing and regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve defects.
- Maintain testing documentation, defect logs, and test execution reports.
- Participate in requirement review meetings and provide QA feedback.
- Ensure software quality standards are maintained before product release.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Hands-on experience in writing test cases and test scenarios.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Experience using Jira or similar defect management tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
- Basic knowledge of Automation Testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, B.Sc. (CS/IT), B.Tech., MCA, or a related field.
