Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming raw materials, bought-out parts, consumables, and finished goods.
- Verify received materials against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans (DC), invoices, and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
- Ensure proper identification, storage, and preservation of materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
- Issue materials to Production as per approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS) and production requirements.
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/software and ensure timely updating of all inventory transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Purchase department for timely replenishment of stock.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) / FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Manage storage of sheet metal components, hardware, powder coating consumables, and finished products in an organized manner.
- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Purchase, Quality, and Dispatch departments for smooth material flow.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and 5S implementation within the stores area.
- Assist in internal and external inventory audits and maintain all store-related documentation.
- Ensure timely material availability to support uninterrupted production and customer deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate/Diploma in Commerce, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in Stores & Inventory within a manufacturing company.
- Good knowledge of store operations, inventory control, and material handling.
- Understanding of sheet metal components, fabrication materials, and industrial consumables.
- Experience in ERP systems and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Knowledge of documentation such as GRN, MRS, Stock Register, Delivery Challan, and Inventory Reports.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
