Experience : 12 - 15 Years
Position : Asst. Manager / Manager
Salary : As per Industrial Standard.
Qualification : Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Tool Engineering.
: Certification in CAD/CAM OR Tool Design is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design plastic injection moulds for new product development based on customer requirements.
- Prepare complete 3D mould assemblies and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Develop mould concepts considering manufacturability, quality, cycle time, and cost optimization.
- Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Mold Flow analysis (preferred).
- Design multi-cavity, family moulds, hot runner, cold runner, stack moulds, insert moulds, and unscrewing mechanisms.
- Design and select mould components including:
- Core & Cavity, Sliders , Lifters, Ejector systems, Cooling circuits, Hot runner systems Hydraulic/Pneumatic mechanisms
- Select suitable steel grades and standard mould components.
- Ensure optimum cooling layout to minimize cycle time.
- Coordinate with product design, tooling, manufacturing, CNC machining, EDM, assembly, and quality departments.
- Support mould trials, troubleshooting, and design modifications.
- Identify and resolve mould-related issues during production.
- Review customer CAD data and recommend design improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company design standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain complete documentation including BOMs, revision history, and engineering change records.
- Guide and mentor junior mould designers.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
