Job Summary:
The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and improving the manufacturing processes to ensure optimal production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth operations and continuous improvement in the production line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet output targets.
- Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Ensure efficient use of manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Implement and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with maintenance teams to reduce downtime.
- Maintain records of production data, performance reports, and process documentation.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and company policies.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support new product development and trial runs in collaboration with R&D and QA teams.
- Continuously monitor process parameters and suggest improvements to enhance productivity.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning.
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other process improvement tools.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare technical reports.
- Good communication and team coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and AutoCAD (if applicable).
