Teacher – Freedom Employability Academy (FEA)Position Summary
The Teacher at Freedom Employability Academy (FEA) is responsible for delivering high-quality training in English communication, digital literacy, and employability skills to disadvantaged youth. The teacher plays a vital role in preparing students for employment opportunities by creating an engaging learning environment and supporting their personal and professional development.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining and Facilitation
- Deliver FEA curriculum covering English language, digital skills, and employability skills.
- Conduct interactive classroom sessions using learner-centered teaching methodologies.
- Facilitate activities related to communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving.
- Support students in developing confidence and workplace readiness.
Student Development
- Monitor student attendance, participation, and learning progress.
- Provide individual guidance and feedback to students.
- Identify learning gaps and implement improvement plans.
- Encourage students to achieve academic and career goals.
Career Readiness Support
- Conduct mock interviews, group discussions, and presentation activities.
- Assist students in resume writing, email writing, and interview preparation.
- Support career counseling initiatives and employment readiness programs.
- Coordinate with mentors and industry professionals for student engagement sessions.
Administration and Reporting
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance reports, and assessment data.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on student performance and classroom activities.
- Ensure timely completion of assessments and documentation.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and organizational initiatives.
Community Engagement
- Support student mobilization and enrollment activities when required.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and community stakeholders.
- Promote FEA programs and opportunities within the local community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Basic to advanced computer proficiency.
- Prior teaching, training, or facilitation experience is preferred.
- Passion for youth development and social impact.

Freedom Employability Academy FEA At FEA we provide one year free course to disadvantaged youth to learn English language digital skills and other employability skills including email writing interview preparation etc. We expanded our services in underserved rural areas in States of Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh Bihar Uttar Pradesh Haryana Uttarakhand Rajasthan Chhattisgarh and Punjab.
Best PracticesFEA provides an overall grooming of the youth to make them ready for future employment. FEA is a comprehensive program wherein the students get resources to develop their digital skills. Further, the program covers career counselling by certified FEA counsellors. During the period of the learning, mentorship sessions are arranged for the students from the working professionals having expertise in different skill sets. Job interview activities are organized for students to make them confident.
