Final Quality Control Inspector
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct final inspection of finished products before packing and dispatch.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection as per drawings and specifications.
- Use Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Screw Gauge, Gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Verify product dimensions, appearance, workmanship, and other specified characteristics.
- Identify, record, and segregate defective or non-conforming products.
- Prepare and maintain final inspection reports and quality records.
- Verify inspection results and ensure products meet required acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate with Production, Packing, Stores, and Dispatch teams regarding quality issues.
- Ensure rejected products are properly identified and controlled.
- Maintain product traceability and inspection records.
- Support corrective and preventive actions for recurring quality issues.
- Ensure measuring instruments are properly handled and calibrated.
- Follow company quality procedures, 5S, and safety requirements.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or related discipline.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in Final Quality Inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or precision engineering industry.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Screw Gauge, and gauges.
- Knowledge of dimensional inspection and quality control procedures.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and analyze product defects.
