Responsibilities
1. Program Development and Implementation:
- Designing and writing PLC programs: This involves translating process requirements and control logic into ladder logic, function block diagrams, structured text, or other PLC programming languages.
- Implementing Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs): Designing and configuring HMIs for operator interaction and visualization of process data.
- Testing and debugging programs: Thoroughly testing programs in simulated and real-world environments to identify and resolve errors.
2. System Integration and Commissioning:
- Integrating PLCs with other automation components: Connecting PLCs to sensors, actuators, motors, and other devices.
- Commissioning and start-up of automated systems: Overseeing the installation, testing, and start-up of automated systems, ensuring they function correctly and safely.
- Troubleshooting and resolving system issues: Diagnosing and resolving problems with PLC programs, hardware, and communication networks.
- Calibrating instruments and devices: Ensuring accurate and reliable operation of sensors and actuators, temperature meter, etc.
3. Maintenance and Support:
- Maintaining and updating existing PLC programs: Modifying programs to accommodate process changes, improve efficiency, or address issues.
- Providing technical support to operators and maintenance personnel: Assisting with troubleshooting, training, and documentation.
- Performing preventive maintenance on PLC systems: Regularly inspecting and testing PLC hardware and software to prevent failures.
- Documenting PLC programs and system configurations: Documenting the machine operational, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance manual. Creating and maintaining detailed documentation for program logic, hardware configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Backing up PLC programs: Ensuring the safety of the programs through routine back-ups.
4. Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicating effectively with engineers, operators, and maintenance personnel: Clearly explaining technical concepts and providing updates on project progress.
- Collaborating with other disciplines: Working closely with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and process engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Understanding network communications: Understanding industrial ethernet, and other communication protocols.
- Communication with internal team: Communicating with purchase department and with the supplier regarding the follow-up for the bought-out electrical and electronics material.
- Providing the correct solution: Provide technical support for existing machines in the field, assisting in the troubleshooting and repair of malfunctioning electronic system. Give the right solution to the end user for their current facing electrical, electronic or any software issue.
- Service Visit: If necessity arrives then may visit to customer site to resolve any electrical, electronic or software issue.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
