Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the inventory of raw materials, hardware, finished goods, and accessories.
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders or invoices.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure timely updating in the inventory management system.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and dispatch teams for timely material availability.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders to avoid stock outs or overstocking.
- Maintain proper storage systems ensuring cleanliness, safety, and accessibility.
- Prepare stock reports, consumption reports, and MIS for management review.
- Conduct periodic physical stock audits and reconcile with system records.
- Handle material issuance and return from production departments as per company SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2–3 years minimum) in storekeeping within the office furniture or modular furniture industry.
- Strong knowledge of store/inventory processes related to furniture hardware, boards, and accessories.
- Familiarity with ERP/inventory software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar systems).
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
