You are a hobbyist at heart. You do not just learn to code — you live it. Whether it was tinkering with a Raspberry Pi, shipping a passion project to GitHub, automating something that bugged you, or falling down a rabbit hole of "just one more feature," your curiosity is the engine that drives you.
You may be a recent graduate or have up to one year of professional experience. What matters more than your years is your hunger, your portfolio, and your ability to learn fast in an environment where the frontier of AI moves weekly.
What You'll Build
As a Junior Fullstack Developer at Kloudlyn, you will work across the entire stack — from pixel-perfect frontends to AI-powered backends — contributing to real client projects and internal tools from day one.
Core Responsibilities
- Frontend Development: Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Backend Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs and services using Node.js (TypeScript) and Python (FastAPI/Flask)
- Database Work: Model, query, and optimize data across PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- AI Integration: Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models) into applications, build prompt pipelines, and experiment with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Code Quality: Write clean, tested, maintainable code. Participate in code reviews and learn from senior engineers
- Collaboration: Work within agile teams, communicate clearly, and contribute to technical discussions
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practices — and bring your discoveries back to the team
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- A builder's portfolio — personal projects, GitHub repositories, hackathon builds, or open-source contributions that demonstrate real, hands-on coding (this matters more to us than your GPA)
- Solid fundamentals in JavaScript and TypeScript, with comfort building in React
- Backend experience with Node.js or Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
- Database knowledge — SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Understanding of REST APIs, version control (Git), and basic deployment concepts
- Curiosity about AI/LLMs — even if you've only experimented casually, we want to see genuine interest
Nice to Have
- Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, etc.)
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Exposure to testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Pytest)
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Experience with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, or similar modern tooling
