Sales & Marking Manager (B.Tech) - IT/ITES (Surveillance Industry)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Techno-Commercial Assistant with a B.Tech degree, specializing in IT/ITES, particularly in the surveillance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent communication and negotiation skills to support our techno-commercial operations. This role requires the ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into commercially viable solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Understanding: Possess a deep understanding of IT/ITES, surveillance systems, and related technologies to effectively communicate technical specifications and capabilities to clients.
- Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to customers, including product demonstrations, presentations, and proposal development.
- Solution Design: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and develop customized surveillance solutions that align with their needs and budget constraints.
- Proposal Development: Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals, including cost estimates, project timelines, and scope of work documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to source necessary surveillance equipment and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure competitive advantage.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, installation, and support, to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of solutions to clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any technical queries or concerns and providing ongoing support and assistance.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to identify new business opportunities and improve our competitive positioning.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project specifications, and commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on sales performance, project status, and market trends to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in B.Tech (IT/ITES) or related field from a reputable institution.
- Proven experience in a techno-commercial role within the surveillance industry or similar technical domain.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into business solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software for proposal development, documentation, and reporting purposes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, site visits, and industry events, as required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a commitment to quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
