We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform event footage into compelling visual stories that enhance our brand presence and client experience.
Job Summary
The Video Editor will be responsible for editing high-quality videos from various events, creating engaging social media content, promotional videos, highlight reels, and corporate presentations. The ideal candidate should have a strong creative vision, technical editing expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality event videos, promotional films, highlight reels, and testimonials.
- Create engaging short-form content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Reels.
- Collaborate with the marketing and event teams to understand project requirements and creative objectives.
- Review raw footage and select the best shots to create compelling visual narratives.
- Add graphics, transitions, animations, captions, music, and sound effects to enhance video quality.
- Perform color correction, color grading, and audio enhancement.
- Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and client expectations.
- Manage video assets, archives, and project files efficiently.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and social media content formats.
- Deliver projects within specified timelines while maintaining high quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in video editing, preferably in event management, media, advertising, or digital marketing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and other video editing software.
- Strong understanding of motion graphics, visual storytelling, and video composition.
- Experience in editing both long-form and short-form content.
- Knowledge of camera formats, codecs, and video optimization for digital platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with event production companies or agencies.
- Knowledge of animation and motion graphics.
- Basic understanding of photography and videography.
- Familiarity with AI-based video editing tools and content creation platforms.
