About Us CSS is an environmental compliance consultancy managing EPR obligations for 200+ clients across six waste streams — Plastic, E-Waste, Battery, Tyre, Used Oil and ELV — including CPCB/SPCB registrations, filings and annual returns.
Role Summary Single point of contact between our clients and our internal Operations team. The objective is simple: no client should ever have to ask us for an update. This is a communication-driven role, not a data-entry role.
Key Responsibilities
- Own an assigned client portfolio; maintain a structured, proactive communication cycle with each client.
- Share regulatory updates, deadline reminders and work status with clients before they ask.
- Explain to clients what data/documents are required, why, and in what format — and follow up until received.
- Perform a first-level completeness check on client inputs before handing them to Operations.
- Capture client requirements and queries accurately and route them to the concerned Operations member; follow up internally till closure.
- Maintain assignment trackers, communication logs and periodic status reports / MoMs.
- Flag at-risk assignments and approaching statutory deadlines to management in advance.
- Maintain assignment/project wise status for reporting to top management. As and when asked.

Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline. MBA / PG preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication in English and Hindi; confident on client calls.
- Strong written English — able to draft professional emails and reports independently.
- Strong follow-up discipline, ownership and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook; ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
- Good to have: exposure to EPR / regulatory / audit / compliance domain; experience with CRM or project management tools.
