About the Role
Open Arms Child Development and Counselling Centre is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapist Trainee to join our multidisciplinary team. This opportunity is ideal for recent BPT graduates looking to gain practical experience in child development and physiotherapy while working alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in physiotherapy assessments and therapy sessions for children with developmental and neurological conditions.
- Support senior physiotherapists in planning and implementing individualized therapy programs.
- Assist in implementing therapy programs under the guidance of senior physiotherapists.
- Monitor and document children's progress during therapy sessions.
- Educate parents on prescribed home exercise programs under the supervision of the physiotherapist.
- Maintain accurate therapy records and documentation.
- Collaborate with psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, behavioural therapists, and special educators to support each child's developmental goals.
- Adhere to professional ethics, organizational policies, and child safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT).
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their developmental needs.
- Willingness to learn and work in a multidisciplinary environment.
