Job Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily housekeeping operations of the school, ensuring that classrooms, offices, laboratories, restrooms, corridors, playgrounds, and common areas are clean, hygienic, and safe. The role includes supervising housekeeping staff, maintaining cleaning standards, managing supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and allocate daily duties to housekeeping staff.
- Ensure all classrooms, offices, restrooms, laboratories, libraries, cafeterias, and common areas are cleaned according to school standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance.
- Train housekeeping personnel on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety practices.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning materials, consumables, and housekeeping equipment.
- Raise purchase requisitions for housekeeping supplies as required.
- Coordinate deep-cleaning schedules during weekends, holidays, and school breaks.
- Ensure waste is segregated and disposed of according to local regulations.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergency housekeeping situations.
- Coordinate with maintenance and security departments for facility-related issues.
- Maintain housekeeping records, inspection reports, attendance, and inventory logs.
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, fire, and workplace safety standards.
- Promote a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma in Hospitality or Facility Management preferred).
- 3–5 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in schools, hospitals, hotels, or institutional facilities is preferred.

Working Conditions
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
