We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service & Sales Support Executive to manage customer relationships, coordinate shipments, and provide comprehensive sales support in our freight forwarding operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling export/import nominations, coordinating with overseas agents, shipping lines, transporters, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment execution and exceptional customer service.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment status and operational queries.
- Coordinate end-to-end shipment execution with operations, documentation, transport, customs, and finance teams.
- Provide regular shipment updates and proactively resolve customer concerns.
- Ensure timely collection and sharing of shipping documents with customers.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction by delivering prompt and professional service.
Nomination Handling
- Handle both export and import nomination shipments received from overseas agents.
- Coordinate with global partners and overseas offices for shipment planning and execution.
- Prepare and submit quotations for nomination business.
- Follow up with overseas agents and customers to secure shipment confirmations.
- Monitor nominated shipments from booking until final delivery.
- Ensure compliance with customer SOPs and overseas agent requirements.
Sales Support
- Assist the sales team by preparing quotations, rate sheets, and customer proposals.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents to obtain competitive freight rates.
- Support the sales team with customer onboarding and account management.
- Maintain customer databases, sales records, and quotation history.
- Follow up on pending quotations and business opportunities.
Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate with documentation teams to ensure timely issuance of Shipping Instructions, Bill of Lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
- Verify shipment documentation for accuracy before dispatch.
- Ensure timely invoicing and coordinate with finance for payment follow-ups where required.
- Maintain complete shipment records and MIS reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding & Logistics.
- Strong knowledge of Import & Export freight forwarding processes.
- Experience in handling overseas nominations is mandatory.
- Good understanding of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and international trade procedures.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and freight forwarding/ERP software.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with overseas agents and international freight networks.
- Knowledge of ocean freight, air freight, customs clearance, and transportation coordination.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding software.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
