1) Maintain and organize accounting records, including registers, ledgers, journals, billing, and individual accounts, while ensuring accurate accounting and documentation of all financial transactions.
2) Assist in maintaining daily cash balances, voucher books, and outward registers.
3) Manage cash receipts and payments.
4) Inform & maintain the credit period for receipts & payments.
5) Reviewing financial documents to resolve any discrepancies and irregularities.
6) Reconciling and documented reports, statements and various transactions.
7) Work closely with auditors during audit reporting processes.
8) Providing guidance on revenue enhancement, cost reduction and profit maximization.
9) Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings. Perform proper maintenance of all end-of-year records.
10) Assist in the preparation of tax returns when required.
11) Manage schedules of standard objectives, financial statements and reports.
12) Organize source documents, files and other account affiliated information.
13) Organize all routine registers; manage the budget and carry out analysis on all financial data.
14) Maintain relevant spreadsheets, online databases and all accounting software.
15) Supervise invoices and keep contract filing system up to date.
16) Undertake audits as directed.
17) Organize journal entries, perform analysis on account records and reconcile statements for month ending.
