Position: Hatchery & Farm Labour Contractor
Location:Hoshiarpur, Punjab
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and deploy sufficient labour for hatchery and farm operations as per daily requirements.
- Ensure timely attendance and replacement of absent workers.
- Supervise labour productivity, discipline, and work quality.
- Coordinate with Hatchery Manager, Farm Manager, and HR for daily manpower planning.
- Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation, egg handling, chick handling, loading/unloading, grading, vaccination assistance, and other operational activities.
- Ensure labour follows biosecurity, hygiene, and safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain attendance and labour records as required by the company.
- Resolve labour-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure workers use company equipment responsibly and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
- Comply with all labour laws, statutory requirements, and company regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in poultry farm or hatchery labour management.
- Experience in handling large teams of labourers.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to provide manpower on short notice when operational needs arise.
- Knowledge of poultry farm and hatchery operations is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and workforce management abilities.
