We are looking for a hands-on 3D Scale Model Artist who can build detailed architectural scale models for real estate and presentation purposes. This role requires precision, patience, and strong craftsmanship to translate architectural drawings into accurate physical models.
Responsibilities
- Build architectural scale models for buildings, landscapes, and masterplans
- Work with materials like acrylic, foam board, MDF, plastic, and 3D printed parts
- Interpret architectural drawings, CAD plans, and references
- Cut, shape, assemble, and finish model components with high accuracy
- Add landscape details such as roads, trees, lighting, and surroundings
- Maintain scale accuracy, proportions, and clean finishing
- Work closely with architects and visualization teams
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on model making skills
- Understanding of architectural scale and proportions
- Experience using cutting tools, adhesives, sanding, and finishing techniques
- Ability to read architectural plans and drawings
- Attention to detail and neat finishing
Bonus Skills (Good to have)
- Experience with laser cutting or CNC cutting
- Knowledge of 3D printing for model components
- Basic knowledge of 3D software (3ds Max / SketchUp / Rhino) for model prep
- Experience with LED lighting integration in scale models
