Patient Care & Monitoring
- Examine and assess admitted patients regularly.
- Monitor patient progress, vital signs, and treatment response.
- Attend ward rounds with consultants and implement treatment plans.
- Handle medical emergencies in wards until consultant arrival.
- Provide immediate medical management for critical patients.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Prescribe medications and investigations as per consultant guidance.
- Perform basic medical procedures such as IV line insertion, catheterization, suturing, and sample collection when required.
- Coordinate patient referrals and transfers to ICU/OT if needed.
