Job Description: Assistant Manager – G&D
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – G&D at Tax Global to lead learning program management and stakeholder coordination across multiple initiatives. The role also requires strong facilitation experience and the ability to create high-quality, non-technical learning content under tight timelines.
The successful candidate will manage multiple learning initiatives end to end, align stakeholders, track progress, resolve dependencies, and ensure high-quality execution while supporting facilitation and content development as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitation and Learning Delivery
- Facilitate engaging instructor-led, virtual, and hybrid learning sessions with confidence, clarity, and strong audience control.
- Lead workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, onboarding programs, and capability-building initiatives.
- Adapt facilitation style and learning approach based on audience needs and participant feedback.
- Manage session flow, activities, discussions, Q&A, and time effectively.
- Partner with subject-matter experts to translate business requirements into practical learning experiences.
- Support train-the-trainer activities and facilitator preparation where required.
Content Development

Create and update high-quality learning materials quickly, including training decks, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, quick-reference guides, job aids, communications, knowledge checks, and assessments.

Structure content around clear learning objectives, relevant examples, and practical participant outcomes, even when timelines are compressed.

Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, clarity, and alignment with branding standards.

Convert complex information into simple, practical, and audience-friendly learning content.

Incorporate feedback from stakeholders, facilitators, and participants into future content updates.

Maintain version control and documentation for all learning assets.
Program Management and Learning Operations

Own end-to-end program management for learning initiatives, including planning, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, logistics, communications, delivery readiness, and follow-through.

Coordinate closely with business stakeholders, facilitators, subject-matter experts, technology teams, and operations partners to ensure clear ownership and smooth execution.

Maintain learning trackers, action logs, issue logs, reporting dashboards, and program documentation.
- Monitor completion status, attendance, feedback, and other learning metrics.
- Support learning platform administration, including course setup, enrolment, completion tracking, and reporting.
- Prepare regular status updates and summaries for program leadership.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality expectations.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements to improve efficiency and participant experience.
Stakeholder Management and Governance

Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across business and enabling functions, ensuring expectations, priorities, risks, and decisions are actively managed.

Drive stakeholder alignment by clarifying scope, success measures, timelines, dependencies, roles, and decision points at the start of each initiative.

Provide regular updates on progress, risks, issues, and required decisions.
- Coordinate work across multiple initiatives and manage competing priorities.
- Support junior team members through coaching, quality reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of G&D processes, tools, and learning experiences.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, education, organizational development, communications, or a related field.
- Approximately 5–8 years of relevant experience in learning and development, talent development, training coordination, organizational development, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating professional learning sessions, workshops, or business meetings.
- Strong experience creating polished presentations, facilitator guides, job aids, and other learning content within tight turnaround times.

Experience managing backend coordination for learning programs or business initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and collaboration or learning management platforms.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
