About Us
Suha Digitech is a premier technology and educational institution and a proud member of the Suha Group, an international conglomerate with a diversified portfolio spanning the UAE and India. Leveraging the group’s global expertise in hospitality, investment, and tech, Suha Digitech provides industry-leading training in AI, Full-Stack Development, and Digital Marketing. Following our successful operations in Nilambur, we are now launching our flagship Boutique Professional Institute in Ernakulam (Kochi). This new facility is designed to bridge the gap between academic qualifications and global industry standards. We are currently seeking driven, high-caliber professionals to join our founding Ernakulam team and help shape a new benchmark for professional education in Kerala.
Role Overview
You are the first impression of Suha Digi Tech. When someone walks in, calls, or messages, you are the warm, organised, and helpful voice or face they meet. In addition to classic reception duties, you’ll also spend a part of your day calling a small set of potential students — not high-pressure sales, just a friendly follow-up to invite them for a campus visit or remind them about a course detail. As our in-person visits increase, the calling component will shrink, and your role will naturally evolve into a full-time reception and front-desk position. This role suits someone who enjoys interacting with people, staying organised, and being the calm centre of a busy office.
What You’ll Do
Front Office & Reception (Core Role)
- Greet everyone who visits the office — students, parents, walk-in enquirers — with a smile and make them feel welcomed.
- Answer incoming phone calls, understand what the caller needs, and direct them to the right person (Marketing Manager, faculty, Business Development Executive).
- Manage the reception area: keep it clean, tidy, and professional at all times.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and packages.
- Keep a log of visitors, calls, and appointments.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings: book the meeting room, inform the concerned team members, and ensure the space is ready.
- Assist with basic admin tasks — maintain office stationary, update contact lists, help with data entry when needed.
- Act as a central point of contact for any office coordination: if something needs to be fixed, you’re the one who raises the flag.
Limited Tele-Calling (Current Phase, Expected to Phase Out)
- From a shared lead list, make a limited number of calls per day to potential students who have enquired.
- The goal is not hard selling — you’ll simply check their interest, share basic course info, and invite them to visit the campus for a detailed discussion.
- Maintain a simple record of call outcomes (interested, not now, visiting on Friday, etc.) in a shared tracker.
- Targets are modest — your performance isn’t judged solely on conversion numbers; your primary value is your front desk presence.
- Future shift: As walk-in traffic grows, these calling duties will be reduced, and eventually you’ll focus 100% on the receptionist role.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- Clear, polite, and confident communication in Malayalam (mandatory) and English (highly desirable).
- Professional appearance and a welcoming, patient attitude — even when multiple people visit at once.
- Basic computer skills: you can use Google Sheets, Word/Excel, WhatsApp, and email.
- Ability to stay organised, multitask, and not get flustered by interruptions.
- Comfortable making phone calls — you don’t need to be a salesperson, just friendly and clear on the phone.
Good to Have
- Prior experience as a receptionist, front office executive, or customer service associate.
- Familiarity with office equipment like Electronic Private Automatic Branch Exchange (EPABX), printers, and visitor management systems.
- Any prior exposure to education institutes or counselling.
- Anchoring interests
What We Offer
- Fixed monthly salary (based on experience) from hybrid receptionist to full-time front office lead as the institute grows.
- Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No travel required; this role stays at the Kochi campus.
- A warm, respectful work environment where your role is valued as the face of the institute.
- Opportunity to take on more administrative responsibilities over time if you wish.
If you love being the person who makes a place feel welcoming and organised, we’d love to meet you.
