About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead our Accounts & Finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, managing the finance team, and providing accurate financial reporting to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the day-to-day activities of the accounts department team.
- Oversee preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory/regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits, and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports prepared by team members.
- Liaise with banks, vendors, and other financial institutions as required.
- Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls and accounting policies.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic planning.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, etc.).
- Handle payroll processing and coordination with HR for salary disbursement.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA-Inter / CMA-Inter or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Prior experience managing a team of accountants/finance executives.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting tools.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
