Job Description – E-Commerce In-Charge
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and proactive E-Commerce In-Charge to oversee the day-to-day management of online orders across various e-commerce platforms and marketplaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth order processing, coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams, monitoring order status, and ensuring timely dispatch and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of day-to-day e-commerce order management across various online platforms and marketplaces.
- Monitor incoming orders and ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Coordinate closely with warehouse, packing, and logistics teams to ensure orders are processed and dispatched on time.
- Follow up with internal teams on pending orders and resolve order-processing delays.
- Track order status from order receipt through dispatch and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, dispatches, cancellations, returns, and pending shipments.
- Handle basic customer queries related to order status, dispatch, delivery, and other order-related matters.
- Monitor cancellations, returns, and undelivered orders and coordinate with the concerned teams for resolution.
- Ensure marketplace orders are processed within the required timelines and service-level requirements.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly e-commerce order reports and MIS.
- Identify recurring order-related issues and coordinate with relevant teams to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure smooth coordination between e-commerce, warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams.
Requirements
- Experience in e-commerce operations, order management, marketplace management, or a similar role.
- Good understanding of online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.
- Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to take ownership and ensure orders are completed within the required timelines.
- Previous experience handling Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Shopify, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
