1. News Video Editor
Responsibilities:
- Edit daily news videos, breaking news, interviews, and special reports.
- Create engaging and professional video content for digital and social media platforms.
- Add headlines, graphics, captions, transitions, voiceovers, and background music where appropriate.
- Coordinate with reporters, anchors, and the editorial team to meet deadlines.
- Ensure videos are accurate, clear, visually appealing, and newsroom-ready.
Requirements:
- Experience in news/video editing or digital media.
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Good understanding of news formats and social media video content.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle breaking-news situations.
- Strong attention to detail and storytelling skills.
2. News Reporter
Responsibilities:
- Research, investigate, and report local, national, and breaking news.
- Conduct interviews and gather information from reliable sources.
- Write accurate news stories, scripts, headlines, and social media updates.
- Cover assigned events, press conferences, and field assignments.
- Verify facts and coordinate with the editorial team before publication.
- Stay updated on current affairs and developing stories.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and news-writing skills.
- Strong knowledge of current affairs and local issues.
- Ability to conduct interviews and work independently in the field.
- Good Hindi/English communication skills [edit as applicable].
- Journalism or Mass Communication background preferred.
- Previous newsroom or reporting experience is an advantage.
3. News Anchor
Responsibilities:
- Present news bulletins and live/digital news programs confidently and professionally.
- Deliver news scripts clearly with proper pronunciation, tone, and expression.
- Conduct interviews, discussions, and special news segments.
- Coordinate with reporters, producers, and the editorial team.
- Stay informed about breaking news and current affairs.
- Maintain professional on-camera presentation and communication.
Requirements:
- Excellent on-camera presence and communication skills.
- Strong Hindi/English speaking and pronunciation skills [edit as applicable].
- Good knowledge of current affairs, politics, business, entertainment, and general news.
- Ability to present breaking news calmly and accurately.
- Journalism/Mass Communication background preferred.
- Previous anchoring or media experience is an advantage.
