Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Quality professional with strong HPDC/Die Casting knowledge to lead quality control, process improvement, customer quality, and QMS activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead HPDC process quality and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Analyze and control defects such as porosity, blow holes, cold shuts, cracks, flash, and dimensional issues.
- Lead RCA, 8D, CAPA, NCR, customer complaints, and corrective actions.
- Monitor rejection, rework, PPM, process capability, and quality KPIs.
- Ensure effective First Piece, In-Process, and Final Inspection.
- Review and maintain PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and quality standards.
- Plan and coordinate ISO, IATF 16949, MACE, customer, and internal audits.
- Ensure closure of audit findings, NCs, and corrective actions within timelines.
- Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, Die Maintenance, and Process Engineering.
- Lead new product trials, process validation, and quality improvement projects.
- Handle customer audits, complaints, and quality-related communications.
- Lead and develop the Quality team and maintain shop-floor quality discipline.
- Drive 7 QC Tools, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification & Skills
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Quality Engineering.
- 4–8 years of Die Casting Quality experience – Mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience in HPDC / Pressure Die Casting.
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, MACE, GD&T, SPC, MSA, PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plan.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, leadership, audit, and customer-handling skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
