About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tally Trainee Intern to join our Finance & Accounts team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want to gain practical exposure to accounting processes, Tally software, financial documentation, and day-to-day accounting operations in a professional work environment. The selected candidate will work closely with the Finance & Accounts team and gain hands-on experience in maintaining financial records and supporting routine accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Finance & Accounts team with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Support the team in recording and maintaining financial transactions in Tally.
- Assist with data entry for sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal transactions.
- Help maintain and organize invoices, bills, vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Assist in bank and ledger reconciliation activities.
- Support the team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Assist with basic accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Help verify invoices and supporting documents for accuracy.
- Support the preparation of basic reports and statements as required by the Finance team.
- Assist with GST-related documentation and other compliance-related tasks under supervision.
- Coordinate with internal teams for collecting and verifying financial information.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed B.Com, M.Com, or a relevant degree/diploma in Accounting or Finance.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with Tally / Tally Prime is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good numerical and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to learn and develop practical accounting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
