Job Opening: Audit Executive
Location: Melur
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month (Based on experience and interview performance)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Executive to support our audit, taxation, accounting, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of auditing principles, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting. The role involves working closely with clients, ensuring timely compliance, and contributing to audit and advisory assignments.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct internal audits and identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and costing issues.
* Assist in ICOFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) reviews and documentation.
* Perform statutory audits for individuals, partnership firms, trusts, and companies.
* Handle GST compliance, including monthly and annual return filings.
* Manage Income Tax filings, TDS compliance, and related statutory provisions.
* Maintain books of accounts and oversee day-to-day accounting activities.
* Prepare audit reports, financial statements, and compliance documentation.
* Handle GST and Income Tax notices by coordinating with clients and regulatory authorities.
* Support ROC filings and other secretarial compliance activities.
* Assist in bank concurrent audits and statutory audit assignments.
* Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely completion of assignments.
* Analyze financial data and prepare reports using advanced MS Excel functions.
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of auditing, taxation, and accounting principles.
* Experience in internal audits and statutory audits.
* Good understanding of GST, Income Tax, and TDS provisions.
* Familiarity with ROC filings and secretarial compliances.
* Ability to lead and guide a team of 3–5 members.
* Proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory.
* Working knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, and SAP will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
* B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, MBA (Finance), or an equivalent qualification.
* 1–3 years of experience in audit, taxation, accounting, or compliance functions.
* Prior experience in a Chartered Accountant or audit firm will be preferred.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
