Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, supervising staff, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining operational efficiency. The role involves enforcing safety standards, operational discipline, and coordinating with Retail, Accounts, Support, IT, and Admin teams to ensure smooth inward, storage, packing, and dispatch processes in a fast-paced startup or multi-brand environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including inward handling, storage, packing, and dispatch activities
- Supervise packers, delivery staff, and warehouse support personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, workplace discipline, and operational guidelines.
- Ensure proper inventory handling, stock placement, space utilization, and storage standards.
- Monitor order preparation, packing accuracy, dispatch timelines, and overall workflow efficiency.
- Maintain stock records, inward/outward tracking, and regular warehouse updates.
- Track operational KPIs such as dispatch time, accuracy, delays, and stock movement, and identify workflow improvements.
- Prepare structured monthly, quarterly, and yearly warehouse performance reports.
- Enforce compliance with all safety codes, handling procedures, and internal operational policies, ensuring staff follow required standards at all times.
- Coordinate with Retail Back Office and Support teams for order readiness and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with Accounts regarding stock discrepancies, returns, damages, and reimbursement-related matters.
- Monitor warehouse consumables and coordinate with Admin for replenishment.
- Work with IT/Platform teams for barcode, system, or operational tool-related issues.
- Provide regular operational updates to senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in warehouse supervision, logistics operations, or inventory management roles.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices, storage compliance, and staff regulation.
- Ability to track KPIs, analyze operational data, and identify workflow inefficiencies.
- Experience preparing structured operational and performance reports.
- Strong team management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Basic familiarity with inventory management or warehouse systems preferred.
- Organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup or multi-brand environment.
- Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or distribution warehouse environments preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
