Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer with strong expertise in Cyber Recovery and Data Protection. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in protecting critical data, implementing cyber-resilience strategies and supporting recovery from cyber incidents.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement cyber recovery and data protection strategies.
Protect critical enterprise data against ransomware, malware and cyber threats.
Manage backup, recovery and data resilience solutions.
Develop and maintain cyber recovery plans and procedures.
Support recovery operations during security incidents and cyber attacks.
Monitor backup and recovery environments for security and performance issues.
Conduct recovery testing and validate data integrity.
Implement security controls across backup and recovery infrastructure.
Troubleshoot cyber recovery and data protection issues.
Collaborate with security, infrastructure and disaster-recovery teams.
Maintain security, recovery and compliance documentation.
Required Skills
8–12 years of experience in Cyber Security / Cyber Recovery / Data Protection.
Strong understanding of cyber resilience and recovery strategies.
Hands-on experience with backup, recovery and data protection solutions.
Strong knowledge of ransomware protection and security controls.
Experience supporting security incident recovery.
Knowledge of backup/recovery testing and data integrity validation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of enterprise security and infrastructure.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
