We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Counter Sales Executive to join our prestigious jewellery showroom. The ideal candidate will have a passion for jewellery, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves assisting customers, driving sales, and maintaining the showroom's high standards of presentation and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting jewellery items.
- Provide detailed information about products, including materials, designs, and pricing.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Sales:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by upselling and cross-selling products.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the jewellery collection to guide customers effectively.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Showroom Maintenance:
- Ensure the display counters are clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Handle and display jewellery items with care to maintain their quality and appearance.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the latest jewellery trends, designs, and collections.
- Attend training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the team to achieve collective sales goals.
- Assist colleagues during peak hours and provide support as needed.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Ensure all transactions are conducted in compliance with legal and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in gemology, jewellery design, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: 1-8 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in jewellery, luxury goods, or high-end fashion.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
