Job Summary
A Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical disabilities, injuries, movement disorders, and pain conditions. They develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, restore function, prevent disability, and enhance overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical conditions through examinations and medical history reviews.
- Diagnose movement dysfunctions and physical impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation programs.
- Use therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other physiotherapy techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, posture correction, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Participate in health promotion and wellness programs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and patient-care skills.
- Basic documentation skills.
